At Opulence Management, our Internship program positions young pros like you for entrepreneurial and managerial success by providing you with real-world knowledge and expertise to give more meaning to what you have studied in college. To improve the value of your internship with us, you will be coached by Account Managers, Brand Developers, and Business Partners. ‘The Opulence Management Paid Internship Program’ is split into four parts and divided into three months.

Internship “mock” Management Training Program Breakdown

  • Performance Goals and Objectives
  • Skills and Knowledge Development
  • Processes and Methods
  • Feedback

Zero to 1 month

  • Work with your trainer/manager to determine and document your goals.
  • Learn to work in a systematic way
  • Advancement to Training Manager.
  • Drive competition amongst peers.

1 month to 2 months

  • Are you directing your time on the goals you committed to? If not, either work with your manager to modify your goals or reevaluate how you spend your time.
  • Manage three members and develop game plans.
  • Make sure team goals are being met daily.

2 months to 3 months

  • Analyze team performance goals to see if you are on target as a Team Manager.
  • Learn Territory Management
  • Learn and track team growth each week.

Zero to 1 month

  • Understand the specific skills and knowledge you need using the orientation manual as your step-­by-­step guide.
  • Teach back marketing systems.
  • Finish the entire Entry Level Checklist.
  • Qualify to attend leadership courses regularly. (Invite only)

1 month to 2 months

  • Create proper training classes suitable to the entry-level trends
  • Build a 6-week game plan and start learning management skill sets.
  • Do outside study on marketing, branding, sales and local competition.
  • Maximize strengths / reduce weaknesses.

2 months to 3 months

  • Plan a timeline with trainees with responsibilities that they will follow to achieve the skills outlined in Opulence Management’s development plan.
  • Handle and review progress reports with Entry-­Level candidates
  • Discover how to have the right conversations at the right time.

Zero to 1 month

  • Familiarize yourself with the everyday work processes and techniques used.
  • Be clear on why those methods are utilized and how you can support process goals. (Practice retraining)
  • Set clear timelines for task due dates. Have timelines up to date.

1 Month to 2 months

  • Classify and eliminate unnecessary variation in the way you do work processes.
  • Make sure your job duties are clear, determined, and practical.
  • Learn the interview/orientation process.
  • Build a Team Identity

2 months to 3 months

  • Get to know those who work cross-­ functionality in standard work processes.
  • Seek to explain any work processes to cut cycle time.
  • Introduce new ideas with Management.
  • Start asking “WHY” more to learn the mentality of Opulence Management

Zero to 1 month

  • Understand the different types of feedback and how you will receive feedback.

1 Month to 2 months

  • Are you getting the feedback you need? Is feedback precise and frequent?
  • Compare actual performance vs. expected performance.

2 months to 3 months

  • Are you giving feedback to others who require it?
  • Compare actual and expected performance.
